Mushroom Barley














INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Pearled Barley

1 cup mushrooms

1 red onion

4 cloves garlic

2 cups water

Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add one cup of uncooked pearled barley to two cups water, Cook on medium-click-low temperature until barley is tender, about 25-30 minutes total, or cook on RIC2 setting on the digital probe for EOC or MP5.

Once barley is cooked, slice onion, garlic and mushrooms on #4 cone, Slicer Cone on the Saladmaster Machine.

Add onions, garlic and mushrooms to pan and turn to medium, once tender or valve is clicking, mix in cooked barley and season to taste!

Simple and easy!
