Vegan Mashed Potatoes

















*Saladmaster 3qt with Inset/cullinary basket

masher or beater


INGREDIENTS:

1-2 cup water

5 medium/ large gold potatoes

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1/2 cup coconut cream, or non-dairy milk of choice


INSTRUCTIONS:


In 3 qt Saladmaster Roaster add 1-2 cups water. (water should NOT be touching potatoes)

Chop all potatoes into the inset or culinary basket using the Saladmaster #3 french fry cone, optional rinse to remove starch.

Place inset inside 3qt Roaster and turn pan to MEDIUM heat and cover.

When vapo-valve begins to click, turn the heat down to LOW, for about 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender enough to mash.

Once potatoes are tender, drain out water, add potatoes to pan to mash.

Add seasonings, milk/cream and mash/blend together

ENJOY!


OPTIONALS:

3 cloves of garlic to cook with potatoes

paprika to taste

seasoned pepper vs black pepper
